Vedic Meditation
ENHANCE YOUR HEALTH & HAPPINESS
You’ve spent decades holding it together for everyone else.
Now it’s time to take hold of YourSelf.
Discover a simple, natural, effortless technique that helps you release stress, heal the body, and live with energy, clarity, and joy.
Remember
Who You Are
Before the job, the house, the family, and the noise — there was you. You knew what lit you up and trusted your desires to guide you. You lived with purpose and freedom, without needing anyone’s permission. Or maybe you’ve never quite felt that way, but have longed for it all your life. Deep within you is a place of profound stillness and quiet presence — your true Self. It’s always been there, but you may have forgotten how to access it.
Stress can sabotage your best laid plans for behavior change. Vedic Meditation dissolves stress, so you can make better choices from a baseline established in Being.
The contentment, ease, and purpose you seek aren’t distant dreams, but a present reality to which you already hold the key.
Vedic Meditation
Vedic Meditation is an ancient mental technique practiced for twenty minutes, twice a day, while sitting comfortably with eyes closed. The practice is effortless. It doesn’t require focus or concentration. The use of a personalized mantra or sound allows the body to settle into a state deep rest far deeper than sleep while the mind naturally transcends thought.
Passed down through the Vedic tradition of India, it’s taught personally by a trained teacher to ensure the mantra and method are tailored just for you. With regular practice, stress dissolves, the body restores balance, and life begins to flow with greater ease, clarity, and joy.
The Benefits
The form of meditation that my teacher, Thom Knoles, taught for over 25 years with the TM organizations has been the subject of hundreds of scientific studies showing a wide range of benefits from regular practice. These studies, which refer to this form of meditation using the name “Transcendental Meditation” or “TM”, support the benefits obtainable from regular practice of Vedic Meditation, which are referenced above.
How To Learn
(01) JOIN A FREE INTRO TALK
The first step is to book a free introductory talk where you'll learn how Vedic Meditation works, how it's different from other techniques you may have tried, what benefits you can expect, and how the course works. I'll also answer any questions you may have. Offered on Zoom or by phone.
(02) REGISTER FOR THE COURSE
Once you've attended a talk, you can register for a four-day course. The course consists of four 90-minute sessions of personal instruction and guidance tailored to you, held in-person over four consecutive days. After the four day course, you’ll be self-sufficient for life in a practice that’s both portable and convenient.
(03) ENJOY A LIFETIME OF SUPPORT
Graduates of the four-day course receive a lifetime of followup support. Four-Day Course
What happens in the Four-Day Course?
You'll come for four 90-minute sessions, held on four consecutive days, either weekday mornings (Monday–Thursday) or weekend afternoons/evenings (Thursday–Sunday). Each session builds on the last, so by the end you'll have your own personal mantra and a technique you can practice for the rest of your life.Do I need any experience with meditation first?
No. Vedic Meditation is taught as a technique, not a belief system — it works whether you've never sat still for five minutes or you've tried every app on your phone. What do I do before I register?
Attend a free Introduction to Vedic Meditation talk first. That's where you'll get a feel for the technique and for me before committing to the course. -
Book a rounding workshop here.

Who is this for?
Anyone who has learned Vedic or Transcendental Meditation— whether you meditated this morning or haven't sat down in a year. Friends and family are welcome too, even if they've never meditated at all. What actually happens at the gathering?
We meditate together as a group, then stay for brunch. It's simple: a shared practice, a shared meal, and the kind of ease that comes from connection. Community is so important in our increasingly isolated world. And being surrounded by a nurturing group of meditators can lead to a miraculous healing and a greater sense of belonging.j -
What will I learn at the free talk?
How Vedic Meditation works, what makes it different from other kinds of meditation, and how it reveals what's already true about you rather than adding something new. No cost, no obligation to continue. Is this the same as mindfulness meditation?
No — Vedic Meditation is a mantra-based technique practiced with eyes closed for 20 minutes, twice a day. It's effortless by design, not a concentration or focusing practice.Register for a free talk Here

Rounding Retreat in the Blue Ridge Mountains
What is "rounding"?
Rounding combines gentle yoga poses (asanas), calming breath-work (pranayama), and Vedic Meditation in a specific sequence. It's sometimes called industrial-strength meditation because it allows the body to release unusually deep, long-held stress.Do I need to already know Vedic Meditation to attend?
Yes — this retreat is designed for those who already practice Vedic or Transcendental Meditation, since rounding builds on that foundation. Can I learn Vedic Meditation on the Retreat?—— Yes. We will be offering initiations on August 27. Receive your mantra on Thursday and complete the four day course on retreat!
Who guides the retreat?
Two trained initiators guide you through multiple rounds over the course of the retreat, set in the Blue Ridge Mountains. -
Wednesdays @5pm EST
Do I need to be a regular meditator to come?
No — whether your last sit was yesterday or last year, if you practice Vedic or Transcendental Meditation, you're welcome. Why meditate in a group instead of alone?
Many meditators find their practice goes deeper and feels more restful in the company of others. It's less about instruction and more about shared stillness.
ABOUT ME
I’m Patty Haling, a former nurse practitioner turned Vedic Meditation teacher and Functional Medicine coach. In 2019, I learned a meditation technique that truly transformed my life. Vedic Meditation helped me stress less, accomplish more, and remain grounded even during challenging times. The impact was so profound that I felt called to share it with my patients and my community. Over three years, I completed 2,500 hours of Vedic studies and a three-month residency in India to qualify as a teacher.
I now offer a blend of ancient wisdom with modern science to help you release stress, restore calm, heal the body and come home to your true Self.
Since incorporating the practice of Vedic Meditation as the foundation of my work, I’ve noticed something remarkable: my patients begin to heal on their own. They make better choices, feel calmer, sleep better and have fewer cravings. Their homes and lives become more organized, and their relationships improve. It all happens naturally and without much effort or coaching from me. It would be an honor to share this powerful, practical tool with you.
I would like to live
Like a river flows,
Carried by the surprise
Of its own unfolding.
